The 7 Ft Recliner
The 7ft recliner is a project aimed at developing a patented recliner mechanism for possible applications in healthcare, furniture and interior space. The mechanism involved segmented motion of the recliner with varying degrees of freedom using a single actuator and a pulley system to open up to a length suitable for a 7 foot tall person.

The Adjustable Lumbar
The Adjustable Lumbar project involved the implementation of a motorised adjustable lumbar support combined with a flexible pressure sensor array linked to an app. Next steps in the development include automated lumbar movement, wireless app based controls and medical feedback for the user based on the pressure data received.
The Existential Chair
The Existential Chair project involved the design and implementation of a linear actuated mechanism linked to a chair seat that assists a user to move from a sitting position to a standing position and vice versa. The mechanism is designed to follow the same curvature produced by a person when they stand up.
